Vanlife and the three phases of fun.

"Vanlife" takes two forms - the first one being the kind you see on Instagram; i.e. good-looking couples having given up their jobs to pursue a dreamy new life on the road. The second being the real-life, offline version. Running out of water, squabbling with a partner, tracking down bathroom facilities and sometimes spending whole days in the van just waiting for the weather to improve. These are just some of the first world problems van-lifers have to deal with in reality.

Been a busy time recently.. just got back from Haute Provence after an epic paragliding trip and we bounced back out to Iceland. The new Extreme 7x5 super thick hood is amazing! Such a great fit and amazingly warm - the water was 3 degrees!

Will Appleyard is a diver who has a passion for the waters of the UK and he communicates his enthusiasm through his photography and writing.

His first book – “Discover UK Diving” has become a best seller and together with his second book – “Dorset Dives” has raised awareness to many dive sites off the south coast.

Will also regularly contributes to DIVER magazine.


Will is not only an accomplished diver, but can often be found scaling heights as well as descending the depths.

His recent climbing activities have taken him from the cliffs of Portland to the summit of Mont Blanc.

Paragliding and sea kayaking also feature high on Will’s list of activities.
