Qualifications
Matt Jevon is a world-renowned technical diver, instructor, and human performance expert, with more than three decades of experience at the cutting edge of exploration, high-performance sport, and business leadership.
Diving since 1989, Matt is now a Full Expedition-level Instructor on both open circuit (OC) and closed circuit rebreathers (CCR) with TDI and ANDI, teaching everything from new starters to instructors, cave and hypoxic mixed-gas courses past 100m.
Matt’s expedition diving has taken him to some of the world’s most demanding environments, including cave exploration in the Philippines, wreck projects in Croatia and Ireland (including the iconic Lusitania), and landmark expeditions to Truk Lagoon and Bikini Atoll.
Alongside his diving career, Matt is an interdisciplinary sports scientist, sports psychologist, and was a British Olympic-registered Strength & Conditioning Coach. He was also an invitee on the Psychology Advisory Group.
He is also the author of the popular Facebook page “Psychological Skills for Diving”, bringing sports psychology techniques into the diving world to help divers manage task loading, focus, and awareness under pressure.
His broader expertise spans rugby, golf, motorsport, and Olympic disciplines, where he has coached and advised athletes and coaches at the highest levels.
In the business world, Matt has worked as a CEO, board advisor, and non-executive director in private-equity backed companies. He applies the same high-performance principles from sport and diving to corporate strategy, leadership, and organisational performance. (mattjevon.com)
