Omar Abdelaziz – Dive Craft Instructor

Growing up in Egypt, Omar Abdelaziz developed a passion for sports, adventure, and the natural world from an early age.

His interest in physical activity led him to study Physical Education, where years of training and participation in various sports helped develop the discipline, determination, and teamwork that would later support his career in scuba diving.

With a clear goal of becoming a professional diver, Omar dedicated himself to learning and developing his underwater skills.

Since beginning his diving journey in 2018, he has steadily progressed through the ranks of recreational and professional diving, building experience in the waters of the Red Sea while continuing to expand his knowledge through training, teaching, and exploration.

Based in Egypt’s Red Sea, Omar spends much of his time both above and below the water, introducing divers to the underwater world and helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to dive safely and responsibly.

His passion for diving extends beyond certification courses, focusing on long-term skill development, buoyancy control, underwater awareness, and building confident divers through practical experience.

His passion for education and mentorship led him to establish Dive Craft Instructor, an online project dedicated to supporting divers of all levels.

The name originates from the belief that great divers are crafted through experience, patience, training, and continuous learning. Through Dive Craft Instructor, Omar shares educational content, diving tips, safety guidance, and industry updates designed to help divers improve their abilities and remain connected with the diving community.

Alongside his work as an instructor, Omar has supported marine conservation initiatives through his involvement in dolphin research projects in the Red Sea by observing dolphin behavior and contributing field observations, he has assisted efforts to better understand these remarkable marine mammals and their natural environment.

These experiences have strengthened his commitment to ocean conservation and responsible interaction with marine life.

As a diving educator, Omar enjoys working closely with both new and experienced divers, helping them develop their diving skills through real-world experience.

He believes that the best learning happens underwater and regularly dives alongside his students and fellow divers to help them refine techniques, gain confidence, and discover their own diving style.
