A few, first scribblings from me, I am honoured to be joining such an esteemed bunch of divers as the other O’three ambassadors. I’m sure I speak for all in saying the support given to us by Sean, Marcus & all the O’three staff is second to none, we all proudly wear our O’three kit, it is the best!

I hope to be able to regularly comment on diving related matters that can affect all of us. I like to think of myself as a “grass roots” diver, ok I am a rebreather diver & photographer, but really I am just passionate about diving in all its forms. You will find me on UK dive boats & dive centres around the country say hello and have a chat.

Last weekend I was helping (getting in the way of) the instructors in my club taking in trainees for their very first open water dive, the weekend before I had been trimix diving. Both activities rewarding for different reasons.

I felt excitement and sympathy for the new divers, club training often takes place early season in cold conditions, they had been prompted to take up diving having seen exquisitely filmed underwater TV shows. They do their first dive in a cold quarry in borrowed kit in limited visibility, yet still surface smiling! Somehow they know this is the start of a fantastic adventure….
