This was on a shoot in the Canadian Arctic for Frozen Planet 2 – the big BBC series for 2021. Despite having done a couple of other cold trips in the last couple of years (Antarctica and Norway) this is the first time I’ve had to use the suit quite a bit. I used both suits – the RI200 for under the ice work and the MSF500 for when I was trying to film whales and needed more flexibility etc.
