Vanlife and the three phases of fun.

"Vanlife" takes two forms - the first one being the kind you see on Instagram; i.e. good-looking couples having given up their jobs to pursue a dreamy new life on the road. The second being the real-life, offline version. Running out of water, squabbling with a partner, tracking down bathroom facilities and sometimes spending whole days in the van just waiting for the weather to improve. These are just some of the first world problems van-lifers have to deal with in reality.

I have survived the dismal winter month of January, I hope you have too. Needing to clear a heavy head cold before I christened my 2017 dive year, I had to wait until later in January to get wet. Once I started this winters benign conditions have delivered yet again.
